RULES AND CONDUCT

Welcome to Mercy Dance Productions! We strive to create a positive, respectful, and safe environment for dancers, parents, and instructors at our competitions. Please review the following rules and regulations carefully to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

1. General Conduct

  • All participants and attendees are expected to show respect and professionalism toward fellow dancers, judges, staff, and audience members.

  • Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour, bullying, or harassment by anyone will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the competition without refund.

  • Mercy Dance Productions reserves the right to dismiss any individual or studio who fails to comply with these regulations.

2. Competition Etiquette

  • Dancers should arrive prepared at least one hour priot to their scheduled performance time.

  • Only dancers and authorized personnel are allowed backstage; all other individuals must remain in designated audience areas.

  • Choreography, music, and costumes must be age-appropriate and in keeping with the values of Mercy Dance Productions. We reserve the right to request adjustments if material is deemed inappropriate.

3. Photography and Videography

  • Photography and recording during performances are not permitted unless authorized by Mercy Dance Productions.

  • Mercy Dance Productions may occasionally take photos or videos during the competition for promotional purposes. By participating, dancers and guardians consent to this usage unless a written request is made otherwise.
